A breast lift removes excess, lax skin from the breasts to restore youthfulness. No implants are placed during a breast lift. A breast lift may require placing the nipples in a higher position, and when this is the case an anchor or “lollipop” incision is used. This technique consists of a thin incision around the areola and a horizontal scar that leads to the breast crease.
Sagging skin can be due to age, genetics, weight fluctuations, or pregnancy. A breast lift restores symmetry, confidence, and can even help alleviate back pain. Find out more about breast lifts at Spectrum Plastic Surgery when you schedule your consultation with our cosmetic surgery experts.
